Air Deccan tickets can be purchased through SMS. There will be a small transaction fee of IRs 50/-. The Air ticket can be booked by SMS # 56070. The ticket can be generated from Oxigen outlets in any place in India through the system named as 'mFly'.
On registration, a customer is given a four-digit password as an SMS on his or her mobile. The password enables the customer to charge or top-up the user account at any Oxigen outlet and book a ticket. The ticket number or PNR is sent as an SMS confirming the booking. An e-ticket is also sent to the passenger's e-mail ID, this was announced at the press meeting.
Just 2 SMS will get you the details of the flight info and the reservasation.
It was further announced that 'With over 200 million mobile users and still growing, the SMS facility will give access to those customers located remotely and cannot access flight booking through other means such as Internet, travel agents and intermediaries like post offices, petrol stations and retail outlets where Air Deccan's points of sale are located.
