In Sri Lanka nearly 30,000 candidates sat for the Korean language examination to get job opportunities in Korea. Mean while fraudsters had approached these candidates and had sold mobile phone SIM cards to use in their mobile phones in the examination center where they will get the answers for the questions through the mobile phone SMS.
The racket was found out by the police and nearly 700 police personal body searched those candidates to recover any mobile phones hidden by them for the purpose cheating at the examination through the mobile phone SMS.
Most of the Sri Lanka carriers offer SMS for 25 cents with maximum 160 characters.
