Australian air liner Jetstar is making the air travel easier. Once you bought their air ticket you will get your boarding pass through SMS text message to your mobile phone. The SMS will look as simple digits for any one who reads the SMS text message. But at the airport the computer attached scanner will scan it and instantly will produce the boarding pass to the passenger.
This is called as check-in on flights-a text message-based system. And it was developed by an Australian company who also created the mobile phone scanner.
So the passenger can go to the air port just half an hour before the flight if he don't have any luggage and can get his boarding pass by scanning his phone message at the boarding gate and ready for the flight to board.
If someone already boarded with the same ticket before you the airline officer will request identification from both passengers.
So SMS is also to obtain airline boarding pass.
