Mobile phone ownership verification for Dialog GSM customers Method Announced.

Dialog GSM mobile phone customers can proof their ownership of the SIM card by just Sending a SMS or simply dialing a given number. This was recently announced by the Dialog authorities. According to the Sri Lanka Government’s newly passed law, all mobile phone users must proof the ownership of their mobile phone connection to the Government authorities when required.

Already Tigo Mobile phone service providers are giving their customers with plastic ownership cards.

So this will be the last number in the phone book and it will be easy for you find out. When the phone book is opened just press the back button their number will com first.

To correct the ownership information you must visit a Dialog Customer Service Centre with your copy of National Identity Card.
