Nawras in Oman has announced a WebSMS service where customers can send SMS from a internet connected computer to other mobile phones. This will be charged as 10 Bz for local a message and will be 50 Bz for international. The charge will be deducted from the prepaid bill or will be added to the customer's bill if have one. Nawras is the only one in the region to offer this service to their customers this SMS Web based service.
Customers can go to the website at www.nawras.om and complete the short registration for to get this SMS service.
There are facilities to track 100 sent message and sent message list of the current month in the web site.
Also available facility to send a message on a preset day such as birth day, anniversary and so. Thus 10 message can be pre set.
The short message can contain Arabic and or English.
