One of the leading commercial air line Best Air has introduced SMS information service to their passengers in Bangladesh. Passengers with a mobile phone can get information about the Best Air services which are available in the SMS format. The send and receive method are very simple. Here is the announcement which was announced recently by the Best Air.
Aiming to provide better, efficient services and making state of the art technology available for the valued passengers, Best Air launched Short Message Service for the first time in Bangladesh.
Henceforth, the Best Air will send ‘Boarding SMS Alert’ to its passengers two and half hours ahead of their flights. Besides, anyone would also be able to get information about various services of Best Air through SMS from mobile phones.
Best Air will provide real time flight status, domestic and international schedules, routes and fares through SMS,. Head of Marketing and Sales of Best Air Mr. Farhad Hossain unveiled the new services at a press conference at a city hotel on Tuesday, March 05 2008.
He said, ‘We are committed to provide better services to our passengers and starting the SMS service is a small step. We will offer lot more attractive services to ensure the best.

He further added that within May, Best Air would start its Dhaka-Bangkok flights, while those on Dhaka-Kunming, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur, Dhaka-Chennai-Colombo, Dhaka-Kolkata and Chittagong-Dubai routes would commence soon. ‘More aircraft are expected to join our fleet to help us provide a smooth world class service to our valued passengers,’ he said.

BEST AIR flight service takes off!!!!!
14 January 2008 marked Best Air’s inaugural passenger flight from ZIA International Airport Dhaka to Shah Amanat International Airport Chittagong.
The passenger flight launch was inaugurated by Mr. M. Haider Uzzaman the Chairman of Best Air, His Excelency Mr. Abdul Latif Ali Al Mawash Ambassedor of Kuwait and His Excellency Mr. Chatermpol Thanchitt Ambassador of Thailand.
Other dignitaries, members of the Best Air team, patrons, journalists and passengers received special gifts from the chairman as a token of appreciation for showing support to the Airline.
The airline will operate four daily flights on the Dhaka Chittagong route, two flights from Dhaka to Chittagong and two flights back from Chittagong. With valet service, individual customer care program, escort service, meal choice and unique online ticket reservation Best Air is set to become the predominant airline in Bangladesh.
