You can create and send SMS from your computer using your GSM mobile pahone. This ia an add-on for Microsoft Windows XP. As this is a free product there is no support from the Microsoft. This product only send text message from the computer and can't receive them from the mobile phone to the computer.
Ths product support Standard SMS only and will not support other facilities like MMS,Flash MMS, data sending like ring tones or multiple SMS.
The cost and the quality depends on the service providing carrier.
