Two years before an indian Man in Nagpur sent one SMS message to a woman with Vulgar content. The angry woman went to the police and made a complaint about the received message in the text message in her mobile phone.
The police went in to action and investigated the incedent. With the help of the mobile phone carrier, they traced the SMS sending phone which belonged to a person in the town. He was arrested charged and convcted. The Punishment was recently released as one-year simple imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 10,000.
There is no mention about wether the verdict was also sent to the accused by SMS.
