Xmas Greeting messages were sent by millions of people to their loved ones through their mobile phones and Smartphone. Mobile phone users did send millions of Xmas Greeting through their carriers and web based SMS text message sending web sites. But this year people using Facebook and Twitter web sites did sent their Xmas greeting with images very easily and faster to all of their online contacts simply login in to their accounts in the PC, Laptops, Tablets and Smartphone models.
Using the Smartphone and tablets did provide substantial income to the mobile phone carriers as most of them have to log in to those Facebook and Twitter through the mobile internet service.
December 24th, 25th and 26th are the dates that most Xmas greetings were sent out through these gadgets and social networking web sites.
The trend is expected to be more peaks during the New Year season as it doesn't belongs to any religions. So billions of Happy New Year SMS text messages are expected to be sent and received through the year end period and there after. Mobile phone SMS must be little affected by these social net work web sites but the income of the mobile phone carriers won't be affected as there are millions of data plan users will generate more income through the Smartphone and dongle using mobile phone broadband users.
The biggest losers are the postal department and the paper based greeting card makers as the younger generation is departing from using the traditional Greeting sending method of stamps and covers which seems to them as a time consuming one. But sending a selected Greeting card to your loved one through the postal mail will make their heart to love you more as they know how much time you spent on the card selection and sending process.
Methods and gadgets may come and go but the Love will stay there in the hearts of all the human beings.
