International Phone Dialing Code
To place an International phone call or to send one SMS text message to another country, there are certain prefixes that must be used in order to make the call or to send the SMS text messages. Here's a list of IDD Codes and International Dialing Code prefixes for all the countries around the world, these are very important to make the international calls.
00 or + can be used in front of the code.
There after no 0 should be used in front of the city or phone number. This will be acceptable to land line, mobile phone, VoIP, soft phone and satellite phone calls. There are two kinds of billings. One is per second and the other is per minute IDD call charge. Some countries offer operator assisted international calls.
The operator assisted international call is cheaper than the IDD call. If you are using IDD calling cards follow the card seller's instructions.
